About HerbSip
HerbSip is a small, independent website about simple herbal remedies you can make at home: teas, gargles, steams and soaks made from herbs you can find in a kitchen, a garden or a local market.
Why we started it
Search for a home remedy and you will find two kinds of pages: ones that promise a herb will fix almost anything, and ones so technical they are hard to use. HerbSip sits in the middle. Each page gives you a clear recipe, says honestly what the research shows, and tells you who should not try it.
Who runs HerbSip
HerbSip is run from Nicosia, Cyprus, by Κωνσταντίνος Τσιολής, a Pilates instructor and studio owner who works every day with people looking after their health and wellbeing. In Cyprus and Greece herbal teas such as mountain tea, louiza (lemon verbena) and chamomile are part of everyday life, and that tradition is where the idea for this site came from.
We are not doctors, and HerbSip does not give medical advice. That is why every article is built on published health sources and links to them, so you can check them yourself.
